A cross of Riesling and the Trollinger (red wine), this off-dry yet fruit-driven style pleases the entire palate (a full mouth wine). Enjoy pear, apricot and earthy notes on one level, and hints of herbs on another. Excellent as an aperitif or with hard salamis, smoked salmon, but in King Frosch's opinion perfect alone. This Kerner is the chosen winner vs. over oaked Chardonnays. A true crowd pleaser.
